The Legend of Aphrodite

The Legend of Aphrodite
“There, see there she goes again; sprinting down the lonely hall into the girl’s bathroom right on time. She’s crying with that rose in her hand again.”  This is Aphrodite the ghost of OHS.  Legend has it that the reason she is haunting here is because this is were she died of a broken heart although no one knows who this dear love was.

Miss Aphrodite is seventeen and she haunts all around the school, but she spends most of her time near the library. She has a lengthy, flowing white dress and red heels on. Aphrodite has long glossy brown hair that shines as she floats by. Her brown eyes sparkle in the light and her red, red lips look as if they glow. Her name fits her appearance as she is named after the greek goddess of beauty.

Aphrodite loves helping the children with their  homework or their problems. Her specialty is boy problems. Just don't alarm her or she will vanish. She may seem spooky because she can go invisible yet still be there, and advances through the walls, but really she is just a little sweetheart. Aphrodite loves to read and listen to the teachers instruct the children. Although the the teachers can't see her they do hear her. They listen with fright as she runs down the hall, as she cries, as she helps kids with schoolwork. This is the legend of Aphrodite. Do you believe?

Hogwarts Feast

Hogwarts Feast
As I walk into the Great Hall I see lightning flash and hear the thunder roar. Jack-o-lanterns are everywhere not on the tables, but floating in the air! The atmosphere is spooky as the ghosts float above scaring kids. I go to sit down by Hermione and all the sudden there are bats stampeding overhead. Thousands upon thousands fly everywhere getting in peoples way and in girls hair.
The girls are shrieking the boys are laughing then the food appears. Rows and rows of Pies, pumpkin, apple, cherry, fudge, and peach. All sorts of Humbug hamburgers and Lundercast custards on golden platers. Chicken and roast beef; mouthwatering mashed potatoes. There are colossal piles of rolls of different flavors, wheat, white, jelly filled, and more. Golden Goblets as far as the eye can see full of Butterbeer, water, and Goblins Blood a wine for the older kids. Hermione and I eat so much that we are more stuffed then the roasted pig sitting in the middle of the tables.

As people start to become full Professor Dumbledore says, ‘Let the troll hunt begin.’  Everyone starts racing throughout around Hogwarts to catch the troll. While the ghosts follow first year to keep them out of trouble. I get separated from Hermione as we ran off. At the end Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione won the troll hunt. They found the three year old mountain troll in the out of order bath room. After the troll hunt Griffindor went up against Slytherin in a game of high-flying quidditch.  Griffindor wins three hundred to two hundred ten. The feast ends with this exciting game of danger and magic.
